Reiki is a very simple, non-intrusive process. Reiki energy flows into the client’s energy field, affecting the ki, and it also flows around the organs and tissues. It enhances genki (healthy energy) flow that may be present, making it stronger. It disempowers byoki (unhealthy energy) and prevents it from causing further harm. Reiki restores the natural flow of genki along with the person’s health.

The Reiki session sets in motion the body’s own self-healing process, which continues after the treatment is over. Reiki improves all body systems: circulation, neurological, digestive, respiratory and endocrine. Reiki also moves in the deeper levels of the mind and spirit, easing out stress and uplifting the depressed, bringing rational thought and joy to life.

Group Yoga/Meditation & Yoga Nidra Classes

In a group setting you will learn and practice how to breathe correctly. You will be guided in correct alignment and movement to stretch and move your body to remove energy blockages, discomfort and bring greater flexibility to your body and mind.

The ultimate goal of your yoga practice is to prepare you to sit in meditation and allow your mind to be directed either to the breath or to a particular focus: breathing, sensations, thoughts, sounds, death, compassion, equanimity for example. With concentration and enquiry you have an opportunity to examine barriers to your freedom and happiness. Kat will guide you to cultivate a sustained daily meditation practice. An opportunity to practice yoga nidra (yogic sleep) will balance your energy, bring deep rest and resource your entire system.

Yoga Therapy

Yoga Therapy is yoga for the individual with a different goal than group class yoga. Yoga Therapy meets you where you are with a goal of improving your health at every level: physical, mental and emotional. Yoga Therapy enquires and assesses your health history, current treatments and medications, current physical, mental and emotional condition, and your health and wellness goals.

Private sessions offer opportunity for you to relieve disease, discomfort and chronic conditions and return to an experience of wholeness. Together we can work therapeutically to improve your experience of limitations or conditions including:
